The World Bank described Afghanistan's economy as weak in a report it released, and it warned that Taliban restrictions on women's employment and education will further harm Afghanistan's prospects for economic progress.
The income from services, which accounts for 45% of Afghanistan's GDP, dropped by 6.5% last year, according to a World Bank analysis.
According to data from the World Bank, Afghanistan's agricultural sector, which makes up 36% of domestic production, would only account for 6.6% of total output in 2022.
The industry sector, according to the report, experienced a 5.7 percent decrease last year as firms, particularly women's work, stagnated as a result of difficulties.
