White House: Iran must completely halt its nuclear program

In an interview with ABC News, he stated that the United States will not allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons. Waltz stressed that the request covers all aspects of Iran's nuclear program, including missile, weapons and uranium enrichment activities.

He warned that Tehran would face serious consequences if it did not back down. This comes as concerns have grown about the progress of Iran's nuclear program.

Rafael Grossi, the director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, recently warned that Tehran is very close to crossing the "nuclear threshold" and is enriching uranium to levels close to weapons-grade.

Meanwhile, some reports have reported indirect talks between Tehran and Washington via Oman. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi confirmed the talks, calling them “common and routine,” but Iranian officials continue to emphasize their official opposition to direct talks with the Trump administration.

White House National Security Advisor Mike Waltz emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran must abandon all aspects of its nuclear program, otherwise, all options against Tehran will be on the table.
