Trump: US aid to Afghanistan will be cut off; we will not support our enemies

At a joint news conference with the Israeli prime minister on Monday, Trump once again criticized the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan under President Joe Biden, saying the decision not only embarrassed the United States, but also provided billions of dollars in aid to the Taliban.

"We have helped many countries and you may not believe that we have given a lot of money to Afghanistan; But these aids were made during Biden's time. He not only caused embarrassment with the way he left Afghanistan, but also gave billions of dollars to the Taliban.”

Trump stressed that the United States takes good care of its friends; But he will never support his enemies. Trump's comments come as the United States has previously cut off large parts of financial aid to Afghanistan, and the humanitarian situation in the country remains critical.

US President Donald Trump has announced that the United States will no longer continue humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.
