Concerns have been raised by UNICEF over the subpar living circumstances of Afghan children.

In the most recent instance, the United Nations Children's Fund declared that almost 30 million Afghan residents were in urgent need of humanitarian relief.
According to the UNICEF report, there are currently close to sixteen million children in dire need of humanitarian assistance.
On the other hand, malnutrition and diarrhea in children brought on by poverty and a lack of enough and nutritious food are regarded as another major issue for Afghan children.
