International Human Rights Day; UNAMA calls Taliban to accept international human rights obligations

UNAMA, in a statement on the occasion of the International Human Rights Day (Tuesday, 20th of August), called these obligations the key to the protection and prosperity of the current and future generations of the country.

In a UNAMA statement, it is stated that despite the improvement of security and the reduction of violent armed conflicts, measures to protect and protect human rights are continuously and dangerously eroded, which women bear the heavy burden.

UNAMA says that if Afghan citizens, especially women, continue to be deprived of their rights, it will show the Taliban's willful and blatant irresponsibility towards the welfare of the Afghan people.

International Human Rights Day has arrived while the rights of all Afghan citizens, especially women, have been severely violated by the Taliban.

On the occasion of December 10, International Human Rights Day, the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) asked the Taliban to accept and comply with international human rights obligations.
