Amrullah Saleh appreciated his invitation to the United States to discuss the future of Afghanistan

Mr. Saleh wrote in a message on X that it is important to present a single narrative of Afghanistan during his trip to Washington.

Amrullah Saleh wrote in a note addressed to Burchett's team: "I greatly value the dialogue with the anti-Taliban resistance and the political spectrum that you mentioned."

The former vice president added: "I am conducting the necessary consultations with leaders and key stakeholders that are critical to shaping and communicating a single message and narrative." "We will certainly communicate the results of the ongoing consultations to you in due course to decide on your proposed journey."

Meanwhile, Tim Burchett, a member of the US House of Representatives, invited Amrullah Saleh as the president of Afghanistan to travel to Washington to discuss Afghanistan. Mr. Borchet wrote in a message: "As long as Taliban control Afghanistan, this country will be a threat to America."

Amrullah Saleh, the former vice president, in connection with being invited by Tim Burchett, a member of the US Congress, while welcoming this invitation, says that he will decide on the trip to Washington after consulting with political leaders.
