According to the UN, Al-Qaeda has eight training bases in Afghanistan




The United Nations Security Council reports that al-Qaeda has opened eight more training facilities in Afghanistan.Four al-Qaeda training camps have been created in Ghazni, Laghman, Parwan, and Uruzgan, according to a report by the UN Security Council.Concurrently, the Security Council reported that al-Qaeda had established a weapons stockpile in Panjshir.This study states that there is still a close contact between the Taliban and Al-Qaeda.According to the Security Council's report, senior Al-Qaeda officials are actively present in Afghanistan, and the organization has been deemed a severe threat to both Afghanistan and other nations.
