Women protesters: We have been arrested by the Pakistani police for not having visas

The protesting women of this movement expressed their pain and suffering by singing on Friday, January 11.

They say that they were forced to take refuge in a village due to lack of visas and fear of being deported.


The women protesting in this movement have called for the support of Afghan refugees. In recent days, Pakistani police have increased their crackdown and arrests of Afghan refugees, including women and children.

Migrants say that as arrests intensify, they have been forced to flee to the forests and villages on the outskirts of Islamabad.

Sources among Afghan refugees in Pakistan say that Pakistani police have also begun house-to-house inspections and are arresting and deporting Afghan citizens under various pretexts.

Women protesters from the Fanous Freedom Movement based in Pakistan say in a statement that they were forced to flee their homes due to lack of visas.
