Explosion in Dasht-e-barchi, Kabul; The TBN announced the initial casualties as 1 dead & 11 wounded
According to local sources in western Kabul, the blast occurred in the Barchi oil tank area on Sunday afternoon.
The target of the blast was a Mercedes passenger car, sources said.
Meanwhile, the Taliban announced preliminary figures of one dead and 11 wounded; But eyewitnesses say the death toll is higher than the figure provided by the Taliban. Sources say at least 20 people were in the car.
The blast was reportedly caused by a magnetic mine planted in a Mercedes car.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the attack. But ISIS has previously claimed responsibility for similar incidents in western Kabul.
At least one person was killed and 11 others wounded in an explosion in Kabul's Barchi Plain on Sunday afternoon, Taliban security chief Khalid Zadran said.
