Talban: In Afghanistan, one million people lack access to safe drinking water




The deputy head of the Talban Environmental Department, Abdul Salam Haqqani, stated that the country's 5 million residents do not require watering because of climate change.At a press conference on Monday, January 3, Abdul Salam Haghans stated that the conflicts had seriously harmed Afghanistan due to climate change.However, UNICEF, the UN Children's Support Fund, has also reported that five of the three tons of children in Afghanistan drink contaminated water.Meanwhile, the UN had earlier reported that 5 million tonnes of people in Afghanistan do not currently have access to clean drinking water.
