US Secretary of State's New Warning: We Will Set a Bigger Reward for Taliban Leaders than Bin Laden

In a note to the Taliban on Saturday, Rubio warned that if the Taliban's detention of American citizens was true, they would set a larger reward for the Taliban leaders.
The US Secretary of State says the Taliban may have taken more Americans hostage than has been reported so far. "I have heard that the Taliban have taken more Americans hostage than has been announced," he wrote on his X account.
"If this is true, we should immediately offer a very large reward for their main leaders, perhaps even larger than the one for bin Laden."
The US State Department had earlier exchanged two US citizens for the release of Khan Mohammad, a Taliban member. Ryan Corbett and William McConty were two American citizens who were exchanged for the Taliban member.
The US State Department confirmed that three US citizens, George Gulzman, Mahmoud Habibi and Ryan Corbett, were in Taliban custody. But the Taliban still insist that two of the men were in their custody. Taliban denies arrest of Afghan-American citizen Mahmoud Shah Habibi; Habibi's family and US officials insist that Habibi is in Taliban custody.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio says more American citizens are being held by the Taliban than reported.
