Taliban invalidates consular services of 14 Afghan diplomatic missions in Europe

The ministry said in a statement on Tuesday that the services of the consuls of these embassies were "unacceptable" to the group.


The Taliban's foreign ministry says it will not take responsibility for the actions of these Afghan embassies in Europe.


The Afghan embassies in London, Belgium, Berlin, Bonn, Switzerland, Austria, France, Italy, Greece, Poland, Sweden, Norway, Canada and Australia have refused to cooperate with the ministry in Kabul, the ministry said.


According to a Taliban statement, the services of these agencies included issuing bail, waiver sheets, issuing and renewing passports and issuing visas.


The Taliban's foreign ministry says it has repeatedly asked Afghan political and consular representations in Europe to cooperate with the ministry; But they did not cooperate.


The Taliban's foreign ministry said Afghan and foreign citizens should visit Afghan political representations in other countries to access consular services.

The Taliban's foreign ministry said in a statement that 14 Afghan political and consular representations in European countries were acting "arbitrarily" without coordination with the ministry.
