Zelensky: The Russia-Ukraine war is likely to end in 2025

Mr. Zelensky said in a meeting on Saturday that he thinks there is a plan to end the war; But he emphasized that the end of the war depends on the decision of Russia, the stronger position of America and the support of the world countries for Ukraine.

However, he added that he wants to hear the proposals of Donald Trump, the president-elect of the United States.

US President-elect Donald Trump had previously said during his election campaigns that he could end the war in Ukraine within a day; But he did not explain how he would do this.

On the other hand, Gennady Gatilov, the Russian representative at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva, has recently announced that Moscow is ready to negotiate an end to the war in Ukraine within the framework of Trump's initiative; But any dialogue in this field should take into account the "realities on the ground" and Russia's advances.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy says that there is a possibility of the end of the war between Russia and Kiev next year.
