Taliban spokesman: We do not accept Western human rights

Mujahid told the group's national radio and television on Tuesday that the Taliban had not violated human rights in Afghanistan.

The Taliban spokesman rejected the strong criticism of countries and human rights organizations about the poor humanitarian situation in Afghanistan, saying that these countries do not see Afghanistan from their own perspective; Rather, they should see it from the perspective of Islam, Afghan culture and values.

Zabihullah Mujahid added that the demand of the world countries to ensure human rights in Afghanistan is against the Islamic values and culture of the group.

But many countries around the world are against what the Taliban are doing in the name of Islam.

In many Islamic countries, girls and women have the right to education, work and other things; But in Afghanistan, the Taliban have deprived all citizens, especially women, of even their basic rights.

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid says the group accepts human rights principles based on Afghan Sharia and culture; Not the human rights that Western countries want.
