Turkish President Warmly Welcomes Pakistani Officials During Official Visit







His plane landed at Nur Khan Air Base and was warmly welcomed by senior Pakistani officials, including President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The Pakistani Foreign Ministry announced in a press release that Pakistani Air Force fighter jets escorted Erdogan's plane as it entered the country's airspace to demonstrate security and special respect for this important trip.
During this visit, the Turkish President and Pakistani officials will attend the 7th meeting of the Pakistan-Turkey High Council for Strategic Cooperation.
The meeting will be co-chaired by Erdogan and Shahbaz Sharif, and new agreements in various fields are expected to be signed between the two countries.
Before Erdogan's visit, Shahbaz Sharif expressed respect for the Turkish leader and said that Erdogan had been able to transform his country and play a key role in the international arena.
This visit, which is recognized as an important step in strengthening bilateral relations between Pakistan and Turkey, is a sign of closer ties and greater cooperation between the two countries in various political, economic, and strategic areas.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, on Wednesday, February 14, on a two-day official visit.
