Taliban bans thousands of former government employees from leaving the country

While the Taliban had promised a "general amnesty" after coming to power, they have now filed new cases against a large number of officials from the previous government.

It is not yet clear how many of these people have been interrogated or their cases have been reviewed in Taliban courts.

The disclosure of these documents coincided with a hacking attack on Taliban systems, during which information from 21 ministries and government institutions of the group was published on the Internet.

The Taliban have not yet made an official response to this issue.

According to reports, these individuals do not have the right to leave Afghanistan without the written permission of the Taliban leader, due to having files containing dozens of volumes of documents.
