Tasnim news agency wrote in a report on Wednesday, 16 Aqrab, that this female Afghan student threw herself from a residential building three days ago in Ray city.
According to this report, Arzoo Khavari, a 16-year-old girl, became stressed after being threatened with expulsion from school and ended her life by throwing herself off a building.
Meanwhile, Rukna news agency quoted Arzu Kharavi's father as saying that the school authorities had put him under investigation for wearing "Lee pants" instead of a uniform.
Following the reports of the suicide of this Afghan student, the Department of Education of Tehran cities has confirmed the death of this Afghan student in an announcement on Wednesday, 16 Aqrab.
According to reports, so far the main motive of this action has not been determined and investigations are ongoing in this field.
Iranian media have reported that an Afghan female student committed suicide in Ray city of Tehran due to the pressure of the school authorities to impose compulsory veiling and after being threatened with expulsion from the school.
