Saudi Arabia calls on Security Council to take action to end Palestinian suffering

The Saudi Foreign Ministry on Friday condemned Israel's attack on a warehouse containing medical equipment to treat the wounded in Gaza, adding that the Saudi cultural and relief center was completely destroyed in the attack.

The ministry also criticized the international community's inability to prevent Israel's actions, emphasizing that the lack of effective accountability mechanisms has emboldened Israel to continue violating international and humanitarian law.

Saudi Arabia also strongly condemned Israel's attacks on civilians, shelters, and the killing of people in various areas of Gaza, and called for immediate action by the Security Council member states to end this suffering.

Meanwhile, the Gaza Health Ministry announced that at least more than 1,000 people have been killed and more than 3,000 others injured since the resumption of Israeli attacks on March 18.

Saudi Arabia called on the UN Security Council to take action to end the suffering of the Palestinian people following Israeli airstrikes on its facilities in southern Gaza.
