Russia: The presence of terrorist groups in Afghanistan is the biggest threat to Central Asia

Mr. Bortnikov, on Tuesday, the 6th of October, at the meeting of the heads of security and intelligence organizations of the Commonwealth of Independent States in Moscow, emphasized the cooperation of the Taliban to deal with the threats of terrorist groups.

These statements were made while a high-ranking Russian delegation recently visited Kabul and met and talked with Taliban officials.

Russia is one of the countries that has established close relations with the Taliban group; But the government has made this group official.

Referring to terrorist groups such as ISIS and Al-Qaeda, Alexander Bortnikov, head of the Russian Security Service, says that the presence of international terrorist groups in Afghanistan is the biggest threat to Central Asia.
