Protesting women: The international community should act to save the women of Afghanistan

The women protesters called on the international community to take effective action to save the people of Afghanistan, especially women.

The Afghanistan Powerful Women's Movement said in a statement on Saturday that the people of Afghanistan have been under the tyranny of a terrorist group that has robbed them of all their rights and values for three years.

The women protesters stressed that the international community should not remain silent and end this "catastrophic" situation.

The statement warned that the human rights crisis in Afghanistan is rampant, people are deprived of all their human and human rights, women are excluded from society, the killing of former soldiers continues and the Taliban's amnesty is a lie.

The Afghan Women's Movement has called for the international community to support a national process to form a government comprising all ethnic groups in Afghanistan, saying "the rule of a petrified and fundamentalist group" is not in the interest of any country.

On the eve of the third anniversary of the fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban, the Afghan Powerful Women's Movement issued a statement calling August 15 a dark day in the lives of the Afghan people.
