Pakistan targets Sarkani district of Kunar province with artillery attacks

According to sources, these attacks took place last night (Thursday, January 10) around 2:00 AM in the Naveh Pass area near Durand.

According to local sources, local residents have been forced to leave their homes following these artillery attacks.

So far, the casualties and damage caused by these attacks have not been made public. The Taliban and Pakistani officials have not yet said anything about this.

This comes after Pakistani warplanes targeted parts of Barmal district in Paktika province with airstrikes on Tuesday night, January 24. The Taliban had announced the death toll in the attacks at 46.

Pakistani air and rocket attacks on Afghanistan's border areas, especially in eastern provinces such as Paktia, Paktika, Kunar, and Khost, have occurred repeatedly over the past three years.
