European Union: Afghanistan has the highest maternal and child mortality rate in the world

In a statement on Thursday, 3rd of Aqrab, this union has also announced a donation of 31 million Euros to Afghanistan's health sector.

The European Union has emphasized that it is committed to financial support to improve the provision of quality health services for patients and to expand health services for mothers, children and adolescents in Afghanistan.

The European Union announced that 90% of women in Afghanistan do not have access to health services and that the country has the highest maternal and child mortality rates in the world.
