Disclosure of confidential documents; Taliban have arrested and imprisoned more than 1,300 women

These documents, leaked online by an anonymous group, show that a total of more than 18,000 people are being held in Taliban prisons and detention centers, 1,374 of whom are women.

Leaked information from the Taliban's Independent Prisons Administration shows that the largest number of female prisoners is recorded in Herat, Kabul, and Samangan provinces.

In addition, six foreign women are also among the detainees, but their nationality and identity are unknown.

Some reports indicate that a number of these women have been detained for political reasons, violating strict Taliban regulations, or for civic activities.

The release of these documents coincided with a massive cyberattack on Taliban intelligence, in which confidential information from 21 of the group's government ministries and departments was exposed.

This revelation is a serious blow to the Taliban, as the group has always tried to keep its internal information hidden from the media and public opinion.

The Taliban have not yet made an official response to this revelation, and it is unclear on what basis these arrests and imprisonments were made.

According to newly released documents, the Taliban imprisoned at least 352 women and arrested another 1,081 in 1402.
