Taliban announce release of 28 Afghan citizens from Pakistani prisons

The ministry said in a statement on Tuesday that the men had entered the country through the Torkham border crossing.

They spent about two months in Pakistani prisons, the statement said.

It is worth mentioning that Pakistani police, like Iran and Turkey, have recently accelerated the process of arresting and deporting undocumented Afghan migrants.

The Taliban's Ministry of Refugees and Repatriates said in a statement that 28 Afghan citizens had been released from Pakistani prisons and returned to the country.
