فاکس‌نیوز: از آنتونی بلینکن خواسته شده که کمک‌های امریکا به‌افغانستان را متوقف کند

US Senator Mike Brown has called the publication of the Sigar report on the Taliban's access to US aid "worrying" and has written to Anthony Blinken asking him to suspend aid to Afghanistan until the issue is addressed, Fox News reported.

The request came after it was revealed that nearly $300 million in US aid was in the hands of the Taliban.

The United States has been the largest donor to Afghanistan since the withdrawal of foreign troops.

The United States has provided about $21 billion in aid to Taliban-ruled Afghanistan in the past three years, according to the US Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction.

The fund was used for humanitarian aid, refugee resettlement and Afghan foreign exchange refunds, according to Sigar.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has been under "pressure" to stop the aid following the publication of the Sigar report on the possibility of the Taliban accessing US aid.
