Qatar asks Hamas officials to leave the country at the request of the United States







According to a Reuters report, after Hamas rejected proposals for a ceasefire and the release of hostages in recent weeks, the United States has announced to Qatar that the presence of Hamas in Doha is no longer acceptable.
According to this report, Qatar announced this request to Hamas leaders about 10 days ago; However, Washington is also negotiating with Qatar about when to close the political office of Hamas.
The war between Hamas and Israel started on October 7 last year and continues until now. This war has killed and injured thousands of people and destroyed all the infrastructure in Gaza.
The political office of Hamas is open in Qatar and most of the senior officials of this group are also staying in Qatar.
After the October 7 attacks, Qatar has been repeatedly criticized by the US and Israel for its relations with Hamas.
Reuters reported that Qatar told Hamas officials 10 days ago that they should leave the country at the request of the United States.
