The turbulent situation of Taliban; Commander of NRF calls for unity of Taliban opposition

This resistance commander, in a message on his X user page on Tuesday (February 16), called on the Taliban's political opponents to abandon "selfishness and differences" and unite.

Referring to internal disagreements within the Taliban leadership, he emphasized that preoccupation with issues such as which Taliban factions are fighting each other and who among them has been "detained, killed, and wounded" is "false thinking."

Referring to the internal tensions within the Taliban and the possibility of removing some of the group's officials, Mr. Saifi noted that ultimately one of the Taliban factions will remain dominant in Afghanistan and the situation of the people will not change or will even get worse.

Mr. Saifi has warned that if the Taliban's opponents do not put aside their differences and "selfishness," "post-Taliban Afghanistan will fall into the hands of foreigners and foreign mercenaries."

He added: "The guerrillas and fighters have so far kept the window of hope open for the people at the cost of their lives; now it is the turn of the country's politicians to be prepared to sacrifice and self-sacrifice for this cause."

Hamid Saifi, commander of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan, referred to the internal divisions within the Taliban and the chaotic situation of the group, and called for the unity of political leaders opposing the Taliban.
