Vladimir Voronkov warned the Security Council on (Thursday, 18 Asad) that a large part of Africa may be under the control of ISIS and its affiliates.


This UN official has stated that ISIS Khorasan, by carrying out and taking responsibility for attacks in different parts of the world, has shown its will for international attacks.


Meanwhile, the United Nations Security Council wrote in a report that ISIS Khorasan infiltrated the Taliban's security institutions and is expanding its influence to Central Asia.


This assessment shows that the Taliban have been unable to contain the ISIS group; But the Taliban always claim that they suppressed this group in Afghanistan.

The Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations for Counter-Terrorism has said that in the last six months, ISIS in Khorasan has increased its financial, logistical, and recruitment efforts.
