New UN plan on Afghanistan; Taliban says details will be provided soon

According to the Taliban's migration ministry, Robert Dickson, the British embassy's clerk in Afghanistan, raised the issue with Abdul Kabir, the group's migration minister.
According to the Taliban, the plan includes strengthening relations, ensuring security and creating conditions for positive cooperation between Afghanistan and the international community.
They also said Britain played an influential role in drafting the document. However, no official confirmation of the plan has been released by the UN or the British Embassy. The comments come as the United Nations called for the appointment of a special envoy for Afghanistan last year after a special assessment by Fereydoun Sinerlioglu; This was met with a negative reaction from the Taliban.
In his report, Sinerlioglu stressed that Afghanistan's reintegration into the international community requires the formation of an inclusive government and respect for women's rights. In the recent meeting in Kabul, the two sides also discussed the situation of Afghan refugees, humanitarian aid and expansion of interactions.
The Taliban say Britain has expressed its commitment to supporting Afghan citizens and maintaining sustainable ties with Afghanistan.
Taliban officials say the UN has prepared a new plan for Afghanistan that will be shared with them in the future.
