Ahmad Massoud: Afghanistan under Taliban control has once again become a center for terrorists

Massoud emphasized that armed struggle is not the goal of the Resistance Front, but rather a means to achieve a political solution and guarantee the rights of the people, including the right to choose their government and women's education. He added: "We do not want the world to fight on our behalf; but we expect Afghanistan and its people not to be forgotten."

The National Resistance leader, referring to the international situation, said the Taliban continue to oppress the people as they did in the past, with no signs of change in their policies or behavior. He called on the international community to prioritize Afghanistan in humanitarian and political agendas, support the actions of the International Criminal Court, and keep the Taliban under sanctions.

Ahmad Massoud also pointed to Pakistan's role in supporting the Taliban, stating that this support has been a strategic mistake and that the Taliban now have a project, ideology, and allies that stake claims to territory within Pakistan itself.

In concluding his remarks, Massoud stressed that Western efforts to believe in Taliban change have failed, and the current policies of this group show that no country can claim to alter their behavior.

Ahmad Massoud, leader of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan, warned on Saturday, November 7, at the annual "Future Meetings" gathering in Saint-Raphaël, France, that Afghanistan under Taliban control has once again become a hub for training terrorists.
