Amin Ahmadi: The Taliban's detention of women is the worst religious, customary and human evil.

Mr. Amin, on Tuesday, 31 Saratan, wrote in a note on his Facebook account that the arrest of girls by the Taliban is itself “the worst religious, customary, and human vice.”

He further added that the Taliban’s violent treatment of Afghan women and girls has no precedent in at least the past 120 years.

This well-known Afghan researcher, in another part of his note, stated that Zalmay Khalilzad, the former U.S. representative during negotiations with the Taliban, “would come to Doha each time and hold laughable displays under the guise of meeting with women’s representatives, taking photos to show his hollow commitment to defending women’s rights in implementing that disgraceful Doha agreement.”

He accused Western countries of contributing to the current situation in Afghanistan.

It is worth mentioning that the Taliban have recently resumed the process of arresting women and girls in Kabul on the pretext of not wearing hijab.

Mohammad Amin Ahmadi, a researcher and university professor, says that the Taliban’s Ministry of Virtue and Vice, by arresting girls, tramples on the collective dignity and pride of society.
