Pakistan Army Operation in Karak; TTP fighters killed, 3 soldiers wounded

According to reports, in this operation, three Pakistani security personnel were also injured.


Based on statements from Pakistani security officials, this military operation was launched by Pakistani troops in the Abbasa Khtak area of Karkh district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.


It is said that Pakistani security officials have imposed a curfew in the surrounding villages of this location until after noon on Saturday.


It should be noted that in recent months, clashes between Pakistani security forces and members of the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) have increased in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces.


Pakistani officials have repeatedly expressed concern over TTP safe havens in Afghan soil and have accused the Taliban of providing shelter to this group.

Pakistani media have reported that following a military operation by the country's forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, at least 14 members of the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) have been killed.
