Qaisari: Taliban try to assassinate Turks in northern Afghanistan

He emphasized that the Taliban are also seeking to seize the homes, lands, and properties of these commanders.

On Wednesday (22 Asad), Qaisari wrote in a note that the Taliban have not changed at all and that their regime lacks a people-centered approach.

This former military figure added that after meeting with Taliban officials, he concluded that they are “an ignorant, oppressive, and godless group.”

Nizamuddin Qaisari, who returned to Afghanistan from Iran in 2023 and had declared support for the Taliban, now says that the group has not changed and their regime does not have a people-centered approach. He has once again sought refuge in Iran.

Qaisari also pointed to the wave of killings of former security forces, stating: “Anyone who has served even a single day in the previous system is targeted and killed, either at home or on the way to their home.”

This comes as the Taliban, after returning to power in Afghanistan, have continued to suppress, detain, impose restrictions, torture, and imprison the country’s citizens.

Nizamuddin Qaisari, a former military commander in northern Afghanistan, says that the Taliban have launched an organized campaign in recent months to assassinate Turkic individuals in the northern part of the country.
