A 5.2 magnitude earthquake shook Jalalabad once again.

Meanwhile, the spokesperson for the National Disaster Management Authority under the Taliban administration told the Associated Press: "The process of transferring the injured is still ongoing; therefore, this data may change significantly."

He also said: "The earthquake caused landslides in some areas and blocked roads; but they have been reopened, and the remaining roads will also be cleared to provide access to areas that were previously difficult to reach."

At the same time, Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson for the Taliban group, announced that the number of deaths from the recent earthquake in Kunar has reached one thousand four hundred people.

He added that the number of injured has increased to three thousand one hundred twenty-four people.

The United States Geological Survey announced that on Tuesday, another fresh earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 on the Richter scale occurred 34 kilometers northeast of Jalalabad at a depth of 10 kilometers; an area where a previous earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 on the Richter scale had occurred.
