Gaza ceasefire; seven Israeli hostages handed over to Red Cross

The International Committee of the Red Cross has announced that it has implemented a "multi-stage operation" to oversee the process of releasing the hostages and returning the bodies; this international body is responsible for coordinating and ensuring the health and safety of the transfers.

On the other hand, the military wing of Hamas has emphasized that as long as the Israeli side adheres to the terms of the ceasefire agreement and the established timeline, this group will also be committed to implementing the same timeline and ceasefire. Hamas spokespersons have announced this conditional commitment in statements.

The Israeli army has also reported that the forces responsible for air transport and logistics have completed the necessary preparations to receive the freed hostages from Gaza, so that after handover by the Red Cross, the transfer, medical examinations, and return to families can be carried out quickly.

The developments related to the hostage exchange are the latest phase of the ceasefire, during which a group of living Israeli hostages are to be released in exchange for the freedom of thousands of Palestinian prisoners from Israeli prisons; this matter has elicited widespread domestic and international reactions.

In the latest development related to the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, early this morning seven living Israeli hostages were officially handed over to the International Committee of the Red Cross. This action is part of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement and the exchange of hostages and prisoners.
