UN: Humanitarian aid to Gaza remains severely restricted

According to this report, Israel continues to obstruct the entry of sufficient relief trucks into Gaza as per the ceasefire agreement; such that only 149 trucks were unloaded at Gaza's crossings yesterday. Congestion on routes and ongoing delays by the Israeli army have been cited as among the reasons for this situation.

The Gaza Media Office has also announced that since the start of the ceasefire, an average of only 145 aid trucks have entered Gaza daily; a figure that is far less than the 600 trucks that had been agreed upon.

Leaders of Arab and Muslim countries are scheduled to meet in Istanbul on Monday to discuss next steps for advancing the Gaza ceasefire, including the deployment of forces to form an international stabilization force.

The United Nations has announced in a report that the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza remains severely restricted; however, there has been a slight improvement in the distribution of food supplies.
