Trump warns: Something bad will happen if Taliban don't hand over Bagram base

Trump, on Saturday (20 September), asked the Taliban to immediately hand over the Bagram base to America.

The President of America warned in a message on "Social Trot": "If Afghanistan does not return the Bagram Air Base to those who built it, namely the United States of America, bad things will happen."

Donald Trump, President of America, said on Thursday during a joint press conference with Keir Starmer, Prime Minister of Britain, that this matter could be breaking news and America is trying to take back the Bagram Air Base.

He added: "They (the Taliban) want things from us; we also want that base."

The Bagram Air Base was the largest U.S. military base in Afghanistan until 2021; but after the withdrawal of American forces from the country, it was evacuated.

Trump, in the joint press conference with the Prime Minister of Britain, also emphasized the strategic importance of Bagram and said that this base is only about one hour away from the region where China is building nuclear weapons.

The President of America has previously repeatedly severely criticized the Biden administration for abandoning Bagram and said that this decision has been detrimental to America's security interests.
