Zabihullah Mujahid stated that in these negotiations, both sides decided not to take any hostile actions against each other and to base their relations on mutual respect and good neighborliness.

According to him, the Taliban has committed not to support the activities or attacks of groups that act against the Pakistani government. Mujahid added that both sides have agreed to refrain from any attacks against each other's security forces, civilians, and infrastructure.

The Taliban spokesperson also stated that, with the mediation of Qatar and Turkey, a joint mechanism will be established to investigate claims and implement the terms of the agreement.

Meanwhile, Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has also confirmed this ceasefire, announcing that the second round of talks between the two sides will be held on October 25 in Istanbul.

Amid the recent tensions between Islamabad and Kabul, the Taliban spokesperson has announced that in the talks between the delegations of the two countries in Doha, an agreement has been reached to establish a "complete and meaningful ceasefire."
