Abdul Karim Issa's trip to Kabul; Taliban call on OIC to support refugees


According to the statement released on Monday (30 Saratan), the Administrative Deputy of the Prime Minister, the General Director of the Prime Minister’s Office, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs hosted Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa for a lunch reception at the Arg.


Based on the statement, during the meeting, the Administrative Deputy of the Prime Minister discussed with the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League topics such as ensuring security, preventing corruption, ending oppression and chaos, the announcement of a general amnesty by the Taliban leader, the prohibition of cultivation, production, and trafficking of narcotics, the collection of addicts, and the implementation of infrastructure and development projects.


Hanafi also expressed concern about the deportation of Afghan migrants from neighboring countries, urging domestic and international aid organizations to fulfill their humanitarian and moral responsibilities toward migrants more effectively.


The Secretary-General of the Muslim World League stated during the meeting that the organization “represents the voice of the Islamic Ummah” and strives to strengthen dialogue among different sects and expand Islamic cooperation.


This meeting takes place as Afghanistan continues to grapple with profound challenges in the areas of migration, human rights, and economic crisis.

The Taliban announced in a statement that Abdul Salaam Hanafi, the Administrative Deputy of the Prime Minister, met with Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, who arrived in Kabul at the head of a high-level delegation.
