Foreign ministers of Uzbekistan and Pakistan arrive in Kabul

According to the Taliban’s statement, the foreign ministers of Pakistan and Uzbekistan arrived in Kabul on Thursday (26 Saratan) with the aim of expanding political and economic cooperation and signing an agreement for feasibility studies of the Trans-Afghan railway.


The high-level Uzbek delegation, led by Bakhtiyor Saidov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, met with Amir Khan Muttaqi upon arrival in Kabul.


The Taliban’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that trilateral and bilateral meetings with the foreign ministers of Pakistan and Uzbekistan will be held.


According to the Taliban’s announcement, the delegations from both countries include Uzbekistan’s Minister of Transport and Pakistan’s Minister of Railways.

The Taliban’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that high-level delegations from Uzbekistan and Pakistan, led by the foreign ministers of these two countries, have arrived in Kabul.
