Green Trend: Hebatullah Akhundzada is trying to expel Hamid Karzai from Afghanistan

On Friday, the 5th of Sunbula, Green Trend wrote in a post on X that the Taliban's leader's informants recorded a conversation of Hamid Karzai in which he stated that he would bring an end to Hibatullah's political life, and that Hibatullah greatly fears him.

According to the report, Hamid Karzai, in a private conversation with his guest, said: "Mullah Hibatullah does not fear any political leader as much as he fears me; because my presence will bring an end to his political life, and I am considered the only real political threat to him."

The intelligence unit added that after this audio recording reached Mullah Hibatullah, he, through his offices in Kabul, asked Mr. Karzai to leave Afghanistan; however, Mr. Karzai responded: "This is my homeland, and I have no intention of leaving."

According to Green Trend, the Taliban leader also asked Hamid Karzai not to comment on political and global issues; however, Mr. Karzai rejected this request, stating: "I only speak on matters related to the public good and national interests, and I have no involvement in the Taliban's daily affairs."

The former president of the country also emphasized that the education of women and girls is not a small matter, and he will not remain silent on this issue.

The intelligence unit further stated that Hamid Karzai has repeatedly asked the Taliban to allow him to travel to his hometown of Kandahar to meet with relatives and family, but the Taliban have set conditions for this request.

According to the report, Mr. Karzai can travel to Kandahar only if he accepts the conditions set by the Taliban. The Taliban have stated that Hamid Karzai must not hold any public meetings during his trip to Kandahar, and a representative of Hibatullah must be present at his individual meetings; however, Karzai has not accepted these conditions.

Nevertheless, Mr. Karzai has not yet officially commented on this matter.

The Green Trend intelligence unit, led by Amrullah Saleh, has reported that Hibatullah Akhundzada, the leader of the Taliban, has asked Hamid Karzai to leave Afghanistan after intercepting his private conversations.
