Six people died in a traffic accident in Faryab

According to the sources, this incident occurred at noon on Thursday (5th of Saratan) in the Jangal area of Dawlatabad district.


Based on the sources’ information, the accident happened when two passenger vehicles, a “Passo” and a “Corolla,” collided with each other.


The Taliban’s police command in Faryab, confirming the incident, stated that three of the deceased were residents of Jowzjan province, and their bodies have been handed over to their families.


The command added that investigations into the circumstances of the incident have begun.


It is worth noting that the lack of standard roads, driver negligence, excessive speed, and insufficient traffic signs are among the factors contributing to traffic accidents in the country.

Local sources in Faryab say that following a traffic accident in this province, six people have lost their lives, and three children have been injured.
