He added that parts of the facility, which are located deep underground, have suffered serious damage, stressing that "complete destruction" is an accurate description of the extent of the damage.


Trump had previously announced that the US attacks on the Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan nuclear sites had "ended successfully."


The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran also confirmed these attacks, calling them "barbaric and contrary to international law."


Meanwhile, the US President has warned that any retaliatory action by Iran against the United States will be met with a response much more severe than what was done in this operation.
