Israeli strikes; Human Rights Watch reports at least 15 Syrian government forces killed

The organization reported on Wednesday (25 Saratan) that since Sunday, more than 350 people have been killed in bloody clashes between Druze forces, Bedouin tribes, and government forces in the Suwayda province.


According to the Observatory, during these clashes, 79 members of Druze-affiliated groups, 18 Bedouin fighters, and 189 members of forces affiliated with the Syrian Ministry of Defense and Interior have lost their lives.


Based on this report, approximately 55 civilians have also been killed as a result of these clashes, with it being stated that 27 of them were executed on the spot by government forces.


The Israeli army announced on Wednesday that it targeted positions in Syrian territory, particularly government institutions such as the Ministry of Defense in Damascus.


The army stated that the purpose of these attacks was to support the Druze minority in Syria, which has been engaged in conflict with government forces.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights announced in a statement that at least 15 members of forces affiliated with the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Interior of this country were killed following Israeli airstrikes.
