The Palestinian Civil Defense Ministry also announced that since the start of Israel's large-scale operation in October, approximately half of Gaza City's population, about 450,000 people, have left the area.


Meanwhile, Antonio Guterres, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, stated that Gaza is experiencing "the worst level of death and destruction" he has witnessed in his lifetime. He called on the international community not to be "intimidated" in the face of Israel.

Following the continued bombardment by Israeli forces in Gaza City, on Saturday, September 20, at least 51 people were killed, 43 of whom were reported in Gaza City.
