Rising tensions led to the closure of the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan

Local sources have reported that the two main border crossings, "Torkham" and "Chaman," as well as at least three other secondary crossings in "Kharlachi," "Angoor Adda," and "Ghulam Khan," were closed on Sunday.

These border tensions escalated following Pakistan's airstrikes on Afghanistan.

It is worth noting that Afghanistan shares approximately 2,600 kilometers (1,600 miles) of border with Pakistan, known as the "Durand Line," which is Afghanistan's longest border.

Pakistani authorities announced on Sunday, 20 Mizan, that Pakistan has closed its border crossings with Afghanistan.
