Afghan child killed by his father in Tehran

According to Tasnim News Agency, the incident occurred on Saturday, August 11, in central Tehran.


Based on the report, the child was initially taken to Yas Hospital by their father; however, medical staff, after examination, suspected the child's death and informed the police.


Tasnim wrote that following police investigations, it was determined that the child died due to multiple blows, and the father has been arrested.


However, the main motive for this incident and the identities of the victim and the suspect have not yet been disclosed.


This incident has once again sounded the alarm on domestic violence and the vulnerability of migrant children.

Iranian state media reported that a five-year-old Afghan child in Tehran was tortured and killed by their father.
