Putin meets Trump in the United Arab Emirates

On Thursday (16 Asad), the Kremlin stated in a announcement that this meeting will occur in the coming days. U.S. officials have also said that the meeting will take place in the near future.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump, in response to the Kremlin’s announcement, stated that Vladimir Putin does not need to agree to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in order to meet with him. He also expressed his growing dissatisfaction with Putin and threatened the Russian president with new sanctions.
