Sources have added that this operation by Taliban forces was carried out in response to what they called "violation of Afghan airspace by Pakistani forces."

Local sources have confirmed that Taliban forces and Pakistani border guards have clashed in three Afghan border regions. According to these sources, the clashes occurred in tribal areas bordering the provinces of Kunar, Helmand, and Paktia and lasted for several hours.
