Tohidi: Resistance Front and Freedom Front have the ability to manage Afghanistan

He has dismissed concerns about the possibility of a crisis following the collapse of the Taliban regime as unfounded and emphasized that the forces opposing the Taliban have the ability to govern the country.

Tawhidi wrote in a note on the social network "X" that the claim of there being no political alternative to the Taliban is incorrect and that the "Freedom Front, National Resistance Front, and hundreds of educated cadres" have the capability to govern Afghanistan.

At present, Russia is the only country that has recognized the Taliban government, and other countries have refrained from recognizing this group. Respecting women's rights and human rights, establishing an inclusive government, countering terrorist groups, and combating narcotics are among the conditions set by the international community for official engagement with the Taliban.

Simultaneously with the escalation of tensions between Pakistan and the Taliban, political activities among anti-Taliban currents have increased. Some former Pakistani officials have also spoken of a shift in outlook among this country's policymakers and emphasized support for groups opposing the Taliban.

Sediqullah Tawhidi, the well-known Afghan journalist, says that the Taliban lack political legitimacy and Afghanistan is currently in a state of power vacuum.
